Leadership

Greetings From the GMS Alumni President

Munmun A. Khan | GMS Alumni Association

Peace and Greetings GMS Alumni,

On behalf of the Gates Millennium Scholars Alumni Association (GMSAA), I offer my heartfelt congratulations to you, graduate, and to your family for your recent accomplishment. This moment is a testament to your hard work and success, and our family of 20,000 around the world celebrate you.

As you embark on the next step into professional career and life, the Gates Millennium Scholars Alumni Association invites you to continue the legacy of the GMS program through leadership, service and giving back to our communities. GMSAA provides opportunities for professional and leadership development, scholarly engagement, and community service. There are many ways you can connect or continue to connect with your GMS family: join or start a local GMSAA chapter, volunteer on the GMSAA Advisory Council and task groups, and participate in our events throughout the year.

GMSAA is excited to continue our legacy as we launch an independent organization. Based on the feedback of alumni, we have been working diligently over the past year to develop a strategic plan and organizational framework. We will continue to share updates with you as we make this transition, and invite your participation and feedback.

Once again, congratulations on your achievement.

Sincerely,

Munmun A. Khan
